Founded in 2019, CyOak Consulting Group, LLC., is a Service Disabled Veteran-Owned (SDVOSB). We are a professional services group focused on providing those consulting services (i.e. management {program, project, etc.} indispensable to government (local, state, federal) and/or commercial organizations that seek improvement, enhancement, growth (new or sustained). Our focus is geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) services (analysis, data science, data sourcing, etc.), and information technology (networking, cybersecurity, infrastructure). We seek to provide above par services in the information space.

We look to provide that unique blend of experience, agility, enthusiasm, innovation, and capacity to ensure our clients are beyond satisfied.
Our journey began as an alternative after recognizing the desire for a different approach to business as usual: the challenge to deliver a contemporary approach to an evolving world. We accepted the challenge to offer an innovative experience with talent undaunted by change.
Out of this evolution a company was born: CyOak Consulting Group. It was founded on the notion of providing value-added expertise to the proliferation of imagery solutions throughout the private, public, and government environments challenged by circumstances, resources and capabilities.
Mike and I wanted to provide a fresh approach to the company/client relationship after having lived through the challenges of needy organizations continuously seeking value and settling for mediocrity or the status quo.

Donald Patterson
Mr. Donald Patterson is a proud founding member and Managing Partner at CyOak Consulting Group. As Managing Partner, Mr. Patterson is responsible for providing overall strategic day-to-day leadership as well as planning, developing, and implementing fiscal and operational performance. A retired United States Marine Corps veteran, Donald has over 25 years of military and civilian experience at all levels of tactical and strategic Imagery and Intelligence analysis, program and project development and management, quality assurance and control, and training and education development. Donald holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Park University and a Masters of Arts degree from the University of Oklahoma.
His goal is to provide talented people with an opportunity to discover, learn, succeed and on occasion fail, all while implementing game changing value-added results.
When he is not actively engaged with customers or partners, Donald enjoys watching sports, Formula One racing, participating in motorsports, and traveling.
Mr. Michael C. Mitchell is the Co-Managing Partner of CyOak Consulting responsible for providing strategic and day to day leadership in support of establishing and implementing business goals. Mr. Mitchell is a highly regarded program manager with over 30 years of Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) experience. Mr. Mitchell’s experience includes Space and Airborne ISR system acquisition, systems integration, imagery and all source analysis, warning analysis and training. He has in-depth knowledge of multi-sensor national, tactical and commercial intelligence processes. Mr. Mitchell has a BS Degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology and an MPA from Troy State University. Mr. Mitchell served 25 years in the United States Air Force retiring in 2012 at the rank of Lt. Colonel.
When not engaged at work, Michael enjoys cruises and spending time with family, especially his grandson. He is also an avid baseball fan regularly attending Major/Minor League games.

Vania Parrish
Vania Parrish is the Human Resources Specialist at CyOak Consulting Group, With over 10 years of experience, she provides clients with short and long-term HR consulting in areas including payroll administration, employee life-cycle support, employee handbook development, policy and procedure development, and guidance on federal and state employment law compliance.
When not engaged at work, Vania enjoys cooking, home decorating, and traveling with her husband and son. She is also loves learning about the British Royal Family and Motorsports especially Formula One and Nascar.
